ACTING I - INTRODUCTION AND BEGINNING

Students will work through a series of special exercises, improvs,and film scripts to learn the technique of acting for the camera.

 

AUDITION TECHNIQUES ON CAMERA

This intensive On Camera Workshop takes actors through a concise and comprehensive format of steps and techniques to improve and hone their audition skills. Utilizing actual film and television audition scripts this workshop will address:

 

- From the time you get the call to the actual audition

- Preparation and cold readings

- One lines to entire scenes

- Choices and dynamics

- The camera reality and relationship

- Movement within the frame

- Takes and retakes

- Dimensions of auditioning

- Callbacks

- And Much More

 

All scenes will be videotaped and reviewed through video playback, critiqued and discussed.
