FILM & TV AUDITIONS WORKSHOP

This course is acknowledged by many Actors, Agents and Casting Directors as the finest audition course available.
By learning what is expected of you at Film and TV auditions and how to meet those expectations, you will free yourself from second-guessing to give your best audition performances.
We will focus on preparation, script analysis and attitude as well as making/fulfilling high-stakes choices. Actors will do simulated auditions on camera, weeks 2-8.
The course content is based on advice from Casting Directors, Talent Agents, Directors & Working Actors.
COST: $400 (a non-refundable deposit is requested)

RICHARD’S BIO
Richard brings a wealth of experience to every class he teaches. He was a leading actor on film, television, stage and radio; an international stage director; an award-nominated playwright; he became devoted to teaching actors in 1986.
Richard has taught in Canada and England at acting schools, university/colleges, and as a guest artist in high schools, as well as privately.
Known for his dedication, perceptive insight and exacting attention to detail, he has been called “The actor’s secret weapon” and “The actor’s best friend”. His innovative teachings are remarkably effective and have contributed significantly to the successful careers of actors in Canada, England, the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
Some of Richard’s past students include Cameron Mathison (All My Children), Malin Akerman (The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller and 27 Dresses), Natalie Brown (Sophie, Ten Seconds, Something Beneath), Sitara Hewitt (Little Mosque On The Prairie) and James Rogers (Sea Change with Tom Selleck).
